Hello from the Moon
The robot with its robot dog, gets into its rocket ship for a trip to the moon. The robot sends a postcard back to earth, which is now framed. The robot photographs the trip and makes a photo book of its trip to the moon.
This is a very special four-piece sculpture set. The rocket, robot with dog, and the picture frame are made of steel and stick welded. They are all hand painted and then I acid washed them with a homemade mix of vinegar, salt, and brass parts. After they are cleaned and dried, they are clear coated to protect them.
The frame holds the postcard. This is a hand drawn postcard that I drew and inked. I'm getting into comics now and this is the first piece that I have listed. I also made the paper it's drawn on. That brings me to the last piece.
This is a photo book of the robot's trip to the moon. A while back my daughter and I made a bunch of paper from old used paper. This photo book is made from that homemade paper. The photographs were taken to show the moon trip and a short story is there to complete the package.
All truly handmade, welded sculptures, drawn comic postcard, and handmade paper photobook. A one of a kind and the first one by me. Domenic at Robot Army Z

This is Rocket number 001 with a tag numbered, dated and signed. Moving parts are the head that spins. Parts are both bolted and welded. Product can contain sharp edges and is meant to be used as welded artwork. NOT A TOY. Made in the USA LEVITTOWN PA. Check out the rest.
