I built this robot on March 11, 2020. It spent one solid year outside near my garden with the purpose of a rust test. It has gone through all four seasons in the Northeast Region of the USA. Levittown PA to be exact. I found that the rust started fairly quickly after the first rain and was spotty for the first four months or so. You can see in the photo the garden growing. The last six months it was already rusted but the head still was not fully rusted since the metal had paint on it being schedule 40 pipe. It rusted mostly except in the back of the head. The welds rusted later than the other metal. When I started the robot was raw metal except for the head that was painted as pipes are for protection. I sprayed it clear satin on March 14, 2021. 9 h x5 1/4 w x 4 1/2 w (inches)

Handmade welded robot zombie made from steel sheet, tube stock, pipe, and parts of old tools. Each robot is thoroughly clear coated to protect the finished product. This is number 096 with a tag numbered, dated and signed. They are produced in groups and have slight variations in size, weld design and hand attachments. Moving part is the head only. Parts are both bolted and welded. Product can contain sharp edges and is meant to be used as welded artwork. NOT A TOY. Made in the USA LEVITTOWN PA. Check out the others.
